Collingham Band will be helping to raise money towards the replacement of the roof with 12 hours of non-stop music-making on Friday 20th March.
As well as individual members of the band playing a mixture of solos, duets and ensembles, the full band will be joining forces with players from four local primary schools - Collingham, Harewood, Bardsey and St Joseph's School, Wetherby - to give the first local performance of two pieces from the BBC's Ten Pieces project.

Collingham Methodist Church, which has served the Collingham and district community since it was built in 1925, is badly in need of a new roof. The existing roof is covered with asbestos cement tiles, which have cracked or become porous, allowing water ingress during heavy rain. The estimated cost is £50,000.
To take part in the Raise a Roof-athon or to apply for tickets, please print out the adjacent form and return it to one of the organisers whose address is on the form.
This is the first time a musical marathon will have taken place in Collingham - please help to make it a success in aid of a new roof for Collingham Methodist Church and Community Hall!
